This site is all about you, the senior in life. Being a senior has its typical ups and downs, but not unlike that of being a High School Senior! Well OK, we don’t want to go (all the way back) there. However just as when we graduated we now have to deal with some issues and here I will mention being 65 and dealing with Social Security.
There are instances in which one doesn’t wait until 65 to be affected by Social Security but for most of us, this is the case. (If you are reading this several years after I write this, the age could be 66; and older).
The Social Security Administration offers two booklets which are both free that offer great help in understanding exactly what it is, what it is not, and is really a nice quick read. They are: How Work Affects Your Benefits (#ICN 467005) and Understanding The Benefits (#ICN454930). Both are available FREE at www.socialsecurity.gov.
